MEET US!
We are a group of college volunteers hoping to help teachers, parents, and students mitigate the negative effects of remote learning. We hope to create a positive and educational experience for our students and parents, and we are constantly looking for ways to improve!

AIKO CASTREJON
Executive Director
Aiko is a senior at the University of Illinois at Chicago and is majoring in accounting. She was born and raised in Chicago and has experience tutoring elementary school students at Chicago Public Schools reading and writing. Fun Fact: She likes to paint in her free time!
VANESSA VAZQUEZ
Education Director
Vanessa is a senior at North Park University double majoring in Spanish and Education. She has lots of experience tutoring as a part-time Spanish teacher. Fun Fact: She loves dogs!
LAUREN MELTON
Head Tutor
Lauren is a junior at the University of Illinois Chicago and is majoring in nursing. She has experience tutoring middle school and high school students in math. Fun fact: She had been doing archery for 10 years!
JACKELYNE CARRERA
Operations Director
Jacky is a junior at the University of Illinois Chicago majoring in Business. She joined our team because she wants to give the opportunity to children to further enhance their learning. Fun Fact: She loves learning so she has picked up many hobbies such as swimming, video games, cooking, dancing, and more.
